Casper WIDMER was born in 1874 and was not only a renowned shot, he also was part of the National Swiss team from 1899 until 1920 and was elected the first president of the Swiss Match Shooting Association from 1922 until 1930.

During the 1920’s the Swiss Parabellum military pistol was used in many of their competitions. After Häuptli introduced his classic target pistols, Widmer introduced his Radialblock pistol in 1932 on the market. It has a classic loading lever in the base of the grip and a rotating radial breech block. It has a single set match trigger with the setting lever on the left hand of the frame. Adjustable rear sights set for a maximum line of sight, ergonomic grips and a well balanced pistol makes this very elegant slim pistol very desirable.
