Bader Mod. II

Maker: Bader
Model: II
Caliber: .22lr
Barrel length: 414mm
Weight: 1140g
Source: private

TThis unusual pistol was designed and made by Bernhard Bader who started his company with his companion Grosh as “B. BADER—GROSCH” in Mehlis in 1882 which (probably) lasted until the start of WW II. Some of his latest pistols were still proofed in 1940. This pistol was introduced after 1935. The shooting hand is positioned higher on the ergonomically designed hand grips and is more pronounced than in his previous models, allowing the shooter a better line of sight.
