August Schüler – Victoria

Maker: August Schüler
Model: Victoria
Caliber: .22lr
Barrel length: 327mm
Weight: 1010g

This classic target pistol was designed by the firm of August Schüler (Suhl-Germany) who started in 1835 and which was passed on to his brother and his son. After several pass-ons and take-overs the firm ceased in 1982. The patent for this pistol was granted in 1913, when it was also sold and marketed.

The pistol has a Hinged falling block (Drehblock) locking system which is relatively small for its size. The center of gravity of the pistol lies just above the shooter’s hand, giving him a better sense of control, as is the case with the models TRIUMPH, VENUS and VIKTORIA. The Drehblock system is secured by an external locking latch at the rear of the lock. The barrel is secured.
