The firm of Langenhan produced a special model of its popular ‘Model 1893’ with a 30*  degrees inclined near horizontal grip. It was known as the ‘Model 1893-Arabian Shaft’. It had the same internal system as the Model 1893 except that this model was specially made to order. Some shooters preferred the stretched arm position so much more, they requested this model.

It was made in various calibers and could be ordered with differing degrees of finish. It has a octagonal fluted barrel.
