This rare pistol is the first Model 1891 Perfected Target made by the company of Smith & Wesson. It is a single shot break-down target pistol which were made in various calibers. The story goes that a worker at the S&W plant used the frame of an 1891 revolver and fixed a single shot barrel to it. A new legend was born! Larger grips were also added.
