Henri Sauveur was a registered gunmaker in Liege (Belgium) from 1903 to 1938. This model HS-6 was the most popular. Underneath the barrel the initials T.H and L.L.H. (Laurent Locket Habran) who was a well-established barrel maker also from Leige (B). All the usual Belgium proofmarks are found underneath the barrel and on the frame.
The pistol has a very fine adjustable Swiss rear sights. The large dark ebony grips are delicately checkered and are made at a steep angle to the pistol, giving the shooter better control of his shot.
