This pistol is the Model Kipplauf (Schlangenhebel) with a LeClercq barrel release handle on the left-hand side of the frame. It was sold by the company of Bolte & Anschütz (B&A) from Mehlis in Germany around the 1930’s. The company logo, a cross with the letters “B&A” is found underneath the barrel and under the grip plate. It also has a nitro proofmark of an eagle with the letter ‘N’ on the frame. It is a single shot Break-down pistol which were made in either 4 or 6 mm Flobert or .22 RF caliber.
